Homes are listed by their counties. Use the drop down menu, on the right, to select a county. Then click on the picture to view a home.


Q: What's the advantage of selling my home without an agent?          top 

Selling your home yourself can put thousands of dollars in your pocket.
The commission for an agent is typically 6%. If 2 agents are involved, they usually split it with 3% each. If you sold your home, without any agents, for $150,000, you essentially made more on your investment by retaining $9000 in commission fees. Even if it takes 90 days to sell your home, you average $100 per day in savings. The faster you sell, the more you save.

No. We are not a Professional Real Estate Firm. We do not offer to sell your home for you, or to collect any fees if your home is sold. The only service we offer is  to advertise your home to as many potential buyer as possible.


Q: How many people will see our listing on your site?          top 

It is very difficult to estimate how many people will view your listing on any given day or month. We are able to track the total visits, and we will provide a monthly report to you. Our goal is to maximize the exposure of your home to help you sell it quicker.


Q: Where are you located?          top 

We are a local company in Knoxville, TN. Our mission is to create a place where everyone can advertise their home as a FSBO. We know the area and the people of East Tennessee, and there is no better place to develop and grow a company.


Q: What else, besides homes, does BuyThisHouse-FSBO.com list?          top 

We will gladly list any Real Estate property you have. Be it a single-family home, multi-family developments, a vacant lot, or property you would like to list as a rental.


Q: Will any information I give you be sold to a third party?          top 

We will not sell Email addresses or send SPAM to our clients. Please review our Private Policy.


Q: Do I need to hire an Attorney to sell my property?          top 

An attorney is needed if you feel that your interests need to be protected. A lawyer can act as an escrow agent for handling down payments, however, since service fees among Firms vary, you should compare prices. It is best to find an attorney who has experience with Real Estate transactions. Another alternative are Title companies. Most, within the USA, are experienced in all aspects of Real Estate sales. Q: How much will it cost to list my home on BuyThisHouse-FSBO.com?           top 

Our current pricing for listing your property, with color photographs, until it is sold, or you cancel, is a one time fee of $29.95. This price does not include FSBO signs.


Q: Are there any other fees if I sell my property after advertising with you?           top 

Our only fee is the one time charge of $29.95.


Q: How long does my listing last?          top 

Your listing will run until you sell your property, or if you decide to cancel your listing.


Q: How much personal information do you require?          top 

Our setup form asks for your name, address, phone numbers, and your email address. This information is important to potential buyers, and you want to be as helpful to them as possible.

We have taken precautions to prevent spammers from harvesting your email address from our web pages.


Q: How long will it take to add my listing?          top 

It only takes a few moments to fill out the form and email it to us. We will provide you with an Account Number, and instruction on how to send your pictures to us. Uploading pictures can delay your listing being posted. If your using a Dial-Up service, it would be easier to send the pictures to us on a CD-ROM. We try to have your listing posted within 24 hours.


Q: Is there a limit to the number of photographs?          top 

We do not set a limit on the number of photographs, but we do suggest that you concentrate on the best features of your home. We do reserve the right not to post inappropriate photographs.


Q: Will BuyThisHouse-FSBO.com take the pictures for me?          top 

At this time, this is not a service we can provide. If you do not have a digital camera, we suggest you ask a neighbor or a friend if they have one that they will let you borrow.


Q: How do I add my listing?          top 

Fill out our Account Setup Form located on the New Accounts page. We will contact you soon with instructions for sending your digital photographs.


Q: Can I update my listing?          top 

You may update your listing at any time. Any updates may take an additional 24 hours to process.


Q: Do you offer FSBO signs too?          top 

At this time we do not have any FSBO signs in stock.


Q: Do you list homes for Rent?          top 

Yes we can list your rental property. It will be visibly tagged as a "For Rent" posting.


Q: Will I be contacted by Real Estate Agents or Real Estate Investors?          top 

Because you are trying to sell your home, you will eventually come into contact with Real Estate Agents and Investors. Do not be offended if they ignore the FSBO signs. Always remember, they may know someone who would be excited to purchase your home. Be sure to read our Free FSBO Guide. It will help answer any questions that you may have about agents and investors.


Q: What should I do if I am contacted by a Buyers Agent or Investor?          top 

Our Free FSBO Guide will help answer any questions that you may have concerning agents or investors.


Q: I am unable to add my listing on the internet?          top 

You can always download our Account Setup Form and send it, along with your photographs on a CD-ROM, by mail. Just send us an Email first, so we can provide mailing instructions and assign you an account number. We will notify you when we have received your information.


Q: Can I cancel my listing at any time?          top 

You may cancel your listing at any time.
